The Pearls of Poverty. He talks about he pearls of wisdom he learned from the poor (remember that a pearl comes as a result of an irruption in the oyster).
- The pearl of love.
- The pearl of joy. Joy is a decision about how one is going to respond to life.
- The pearl of hope. Even in huge difficulty, the poor cling to hope.
- The pearl of time perspective. The poor understand that time is our servant, not our master.
- People matter, things don’t. A great story about Orel Hershiser.
- Knowing how to give and receive.
Another World. During his first week in NYC, Wess gets a harsh introduction to urban life. He sees both the bad side and the affluence and becomes an angry young man.
