Interceding: Standing, Kneeling, and Gender

What Kind of Difference is Sex? The words sex, gender, and sexism should have different meanings. How people view the issue of men and woman is often based on how they define those words. Until the last 400 years or so, men and women were not viewed as obviously, radically different. Sex difference is define in three broad categories:
- Differences in feelings.
- Observable biology.
- Behavior.
While all of these categories have problems, some more that others, one thing is clear. Men and women, because of gender sexism, have different experiences. And because of that, both men and women need to be at the leadership table in the church.
The maleness of Jesus gets stretched in several instances and insisting on his maleness is not theologically helpful.
