7: Accepting and Blocking
Saying “Yes”. Some say yes and have adventures. Some say no and find safety. Communities say no because yes is impossible, improper, or dangerous. The example a word at a time game is used.“The key to keeping the story going is for disciples to remember that the story does not belong to them. The story is not just their story. The originality is already there in the story: the decisive elements in the story have already been performed.”
The Language of Improvisation. Every action is an “offer”. You have a choice to accept or block the offer. An attitude of accepting every offer makes for a dynamic community.
